Personal profile

Melanie is currently a managing director at Aviva Investors’ real assets business activity, investing in forestry, peatland, infrastructure and real estate including renewable energy and sustainable investment.

A chartered surveyor with over 20 years’ international experience in banking, direct acquisitions and leading business teams through change, she recently spearheaded a sizeable business transformation project for growth and efficiency.

Melanie grew up in Moray where her father was based at RAF Lossiemouth and subsequently established a restaurant in Elgin. A lifelong advocate for the Highlands and Islands, she moved back to Moray in 2018.
