Joanna Peteranna - Director of Area Operations

Joanna Peteranna

Joanna is our Director of Area Operations.

Joanna began her career with Bank of Scotland and went on to hold positions in the private and third sectors before joining HIE as a Senior Development Manager in 2012. Prior to starting her role as Director of Area Operations, she was the Area Manager for Innse Gall from September 2021 to June 2024.

Based in our Benbecula office, Joanna is a strong supporter of Gaelic language and culture, and has an ambitious approach to further collaboration across HIE and with partner organisations.
