Martin Johnson

Martin is our Director of Strategy and Regional Economy.

He joined HIE in 1992 working in various roles at a local, regional, national and international levels.

As Director of Strategy and Regional Economy, Martin looks after our marketing communications and economics, research, policy and strategy functions.

Martin is originally from Shetland, where he worked for HIE, until moving to mainland Scotland in 2001.
