The HIE pension scheme - Statement of Investment Principles

Highlands and Islands Entperprise (HIE) is legally obliged to disclose the details of its SIP in relation to its occupational pension scheme. 

What is a Statement of Investment Principles?

A Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) is a written statement governing decisions about investments relating to an occupational pension scheme. It is prepared in accordance with all relevant legislation and best-practice guidelines.

The Trustees of Highlands and Islands Enterprise Superannuation Scheme have drawn up this Statement of Investment Principles to comply with the requirements of the Pensions Act 1995.
